Using the cropper

Terms of use

Batch Crop Images is a free browser tool for cropping your images and downloading the results. These terms explain the practical conditions of using it.

Effective September 8, 2026

Your images and your responsibility

You retain your rights to the images you process. Use files you own or have permission to edit, and make sure your use of the images respects other people's rights and applicable requirements.

The tool does not transfer ownership of your files to us. Processing happens locally in your browser, as described in the privacy policy.

Check your output

Keep the original files and inspect the exported images before relying on them. Cropping removes content outside the selected area. Resizing, compression, transparency handling, and format conversion can change the appearance or properties of the result.

You are responsible for confirming that the final images meet the requirements of their intended use. A preset or a chosen pixel size does not guarantee acceptance by a publishing platform, marketplace, printer, or official document service.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, support for every image file or browser, or a specific processing speed. Large files, limited memory, and browser restrictions can affect the workflow or cause an export to fail.

Current input limits are 100 images, 40 MB and 40 megapixels per image, and 300 MB of source files and 150 megapixels per batch. Outputs are limited to 8,192 pixels per side and 32 megapixels per image; ZIP generation stops above 300 MB of accumulated image output. A smaller batch may be needed on devices with less available memory.

The interface and available features may change. Do not use the temporary editing workspace as storage or a backup for your files.

Use the service responsibly

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, or interfere with other people's use of the service. Do not use it for unlawful activity or to process material you are not entitled to use.

External services

Links to external sites are provided for relevant information. Those services operate under their own terms and policies. Optional analytics and hosting information are explained in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. These terms do not override rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
